About the position
We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the development of our cutting-edge software solutions.
As a Backend Engineer at Singular, you will have the opportunity to work with top-notch technologies, contribute to the design and implementation of robust backend systems, and be part of a team that is driving innovation in the field of software development.
As a Backend Engineer at Singular, some of your responsibilities will be:
- Develop enterprise applications using .NET, like RESTful Services, Minimal APIs, and Serversless functions;
- Design, develop, and maintain database applications;
- Communicate project status and identify technical risks;
- Monitor and maintain application security and integrity;
- Implement and develop best practices and architectural standards;
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies based on product needs and industry trends;
- Provide technical support;
- Utilize project management methodologies, mainly Scrum;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce and sustain business solutions;
- Conduct technical design reviews;
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What we expect from you:
- A minimum of two years of substantial software development background;
- Proficiency in the .NET platform and C#;
- Demonstrated experience in creating web applications using ASP.NET;
- Good understanding of OOP (object-oriented programming) concepts;
- Experience using LINQ;
- Previous experience working with Agile Methodologies, specially Scrum;
- Ability to effectively communicate in English;
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and organizational skills - must be a team player.
