University students pursuing a degree in Engineering, Information Technology .Assists in various tasks aligned with their field of study, including research, collaboration on team initiatives and projects, problem-solving, and creative thinking to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills. Includes internships, research roles, visiting scholar positions, or other program-related opportunities.

Management Level Definition:

 As a Category Management Support Intern, you will assist our Category Manager Team with various tasks related to managing and promoting our storage solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the tech industry, develop your analytical skills, and work with a team of experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Lifecycle Management:
  • Support the Category Manager in managing the product portfolio, including adding new products and discontinuing under performing ones.
• Promotional Planning and Execution:
  • Help plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns for storage products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.
• Product Performance Tracking:
  • Track and analyze the performance of products within the storage category.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance and market share.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Help with inventory forecasting and planning to meet customer demand and minimize excess stock.
• Distribution and Reseller relationship support
  • Support the Category Manager in managing relationships with distribution and resellers.
  • Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
• Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive products within the storage solutions category.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights that support category strategy and decision-making.
• Pricing Strategy:
  • Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies for storage products.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing.
• Customer Feedback and Insights:
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the product category.
  • Assist in developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Sales Support:
  • Provide support for the sales teams by preparing product information newsletters, sales presentations and training materials.
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Support the Category Manager with various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
  • Maintain and update category-related documentation and databases.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of storage solutions and technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI).
• Understanding of product management principles.

Sales Focus:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Enthusiasm for learning.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets.

Academic Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Information Technology
• Strong academic performance and a willingness to learn.
