Job Summary:
Rakuten Advertising is looking for a person excited to lead a team to excellence in analyzing opportunities for automation and operations. Reporting into the department manager, your team will be responsible for understanding and shepherding key improvements for the company. You will develop systems and your team to best support the application of automation, engineering, and operations to deliver efficiencies, improve work and generate new data and insights across the company. You will navigate process discovery and solution design across many teams to deliver on projects that best fit company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Process Automation, Operations, and beyond to ensure the delivery of projects, ensuring timely execution through high-quality estimates and timelines
  • Research and implement methodologies, tools, and templates to aid the successful execution of analytic deliverables, including process and solution documentation
  • Integrate with other teams within Rakuten to develop plans and processes, and ensure alignment to goal
  • Ensure team predictability and understanding of your team's capabilities and deliverables
  • Track and report on project and team KPIs to team leadership
  • Continuously keep your team focused on incremental operational improvements and automation
  • Develop your team, unblocking their path to success while remaining aligned to company's goals
  • Document all work to a high professional standard

Minimum Requirements:

  • English fluency (Excellent)
  • 2-3 years of analytical experience
  • Effective and persuasive communicator; ability to communicate findings and recommendations thoroughly and concisely to team leadership
  • Experience working in a diverse and multi-faceted environment; with the ability and desire to recruit and lead a team
  • Demonstrated experience with process analysis and solution design; Proven record of applying an analytical approach to technical and/or operational problems
  • High proficiency leading project planning through to completion, with strong skills balancing time and marshalling resources outside your team to achieve goals; 1+ years of experience is desired
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented with good multitasking and organization ability
  • Understanding of RPA tooling and SDLC design is desirable
  • Understanding of ecommerce systems and experience with online advertising is a plus
