We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven
Area Zone Manager (Latin America)
to join our Commercial team. In this role, you will manage the implementation of sales initiatives in order to promote and sell Neptune Group services, generate revenues, and build client relationships with assigned customer accounts or prospective clients, serving as the main sales contact point. You will also be responsible for growing the Group's services in the assigned territory (mainly Brazil and Argentina), in accordance with corporate objectives, by providing relevant market intelligence, finding and developing qualified leads, and converting them into prospects and clients.
The preferable candidate will be based in Santos (Brazil).
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director,
Key Accountabilities
include:
- Drive sales growth in Brazil, Argentina, and wider Latin America by developing and executing territory sales plans.
- Build strong pipelines and long-term relationships with clients, prospects, and key stakeholders through regular engagement and business reviews.
- Coordinate the set-up and future management of an agencies' network, while monitoring competitors, market trends, and risks.
- Support tenders, prepare quotations, negotiate agreements, and contribute to closing sales.
- Represent Neptune Lines at client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions to promote services and strengthen brand presence in the region.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of proven experience in sales, business development, and account management within the logistics/transportation sector (ocean and air freight, import/export), with a strong track record in Latin American markets.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (oral and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with CRM systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Brazil, Argentina, wider Latin America, and occasionally to Neptune Lines' headquarters in Europe.
