Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Managing Director (m/f) located in , Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with some work from home accepted. The Managing Director will oversee strategic planning, operational management, and program development. Responsibilities include leading fundraising efforts, managing staff, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the foundation's mission and goals are met. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Over 15 years experience in Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Operational Management skills
  • Experience in Contribution and Fund Administration, Program Development, and Partnership Management
  • Over 15 years experience in Non-profit
  • Strong Communication, Organizational, and Problem-Solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Legal Compliance and Ethical Standards in international Non-Profit organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus
  • Master´s degree or PhD in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Education, Psychology, or a related field;
  • Mobilize and lead over 500 national professionals
