What you'll doReady to drive strategic impact in a global supply chain? We're seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team and become the crucial link for our operations in Brazil. This hybrid role offers the unique blend of working collaboratively within our Rio and Macae offices and the flexibility of remote work.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the primary Supply Chain point of contact for key segments doing business across Brazil, including Energy, Enterprise (PLM, ELM, and GFB). You'll master Brazil's unique tools and systems to champion sourcing, optimize supplier management, develop robust commodity strategies, and expertly handle all goods and services purchasing.
If you're a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational and project management skills, you'll thrive in prioritizing your workload, communicating status updates, and ensuring strict compliance with all local and national regulations. The day-to-dayExecute purchasing tasks using SAP B1 and ServiceNow (SNOW).
Provide timely updates and address inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding material status and issues.
Communicate with external suppliers to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information.
Attend meetings to discuss and disseminate new and existing requirements and schedules.
Independently research new suppliers, develop cost-reduction strategies, and present these ideas to key stakeholders.
Negotiate with suppliers for improved pricing, terms, and delivery dates.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong communication skills.
Fluent in Portuguese and English.
Quickly understand and distill core requirements.
Solve problems creatively while adhering to established guidelines.
Effectively prioritize and organize work from diverse internal stakeholders.
