EarthDaily Analytics Corp., a vertically integrated data processing and analytics company, is launching a new constellation of earth observation satellites. The EarthDaily satellite constellation will significantly enhance geospatial analytics capabilities in agriculture, forestry, environment, financial services, and intelligence, among many other verticals. Main Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Engineer at EarthDaily Agro, you will support the Sales and Account Managers in delivering technical and product offerings based on our portfolio, to meet the expectations and requirements of our agro- oriented customers.
You will work in a cross-functional and diverse environment. Your role will be to deliver key and critical information in timely fashion and to become a key contributor of the company's business success.
Your responsibilities include:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, data science, and operations, to ensure successful product communication and customer engagementDevelop a deep technical knowledge of our products, including their strengths, limitations, value, and cost driversPartner with Sales Managers on sales meetings and presentationsWork with customers to understand technical requirements and translate those needs into viable solutionsPlan, prepare, and execute tailored product demonstrations to show how the product satisfies requirements and solves problemsSupport commercialization of our products and services by working with the technical teams to write winning proposals and produce technical content for the product sales and marketing teamsTest and demonstrate new features that meet customer needsWork with Account Managers to add prospective feature requests based on opportunity sizeSupport the creation of sales engineering presentations that effectively communicate the value of EarthDaily Agro's services to potential customers Education, KNOWLEDGE, and Abilities RequirementsAgricultural Industry Background: +5 years in Agriculture sector, with deep understanding of agronomist and farmer operations crop production cycle, and ideally agricultural decision-making processesTechnical Competency: Working knowledge of agricultural and geospatial platforms, satellite/remote sensing data, API-based integrations, and data analytics worflows.Comfortable with Python scripting concepts, crop modeling principles, and ML/AI applications in precision agricultureSales mindset and customer focus especially for B2B salesUnderstanding of sales methodologies, ability to present to customersNegotiation and problem-solving skill, ability to listen and discoverAbility to collaborate and contribute within defined processesExperience in solutioning and demoing Agro solutionsAbility to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitaskTechnical skills: Python, basic knowledge of Ag and data science including ML/AIExcellent written and oral communication skillsEnglish proficiency is mandatoryPreferred Additional SkillsAzure and AWS experienceGIS and remote sensing experienceSpanish proficiencyConditionsFull time job based in Sao Paulo (preferred) or remotely from other Brazilian area.
Selected candidate will have competitive pay structure with an annual bonus paid out
