About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Inside Sales Representative
to join our growing team in
São Paulo
. This role will focus on
prospecting, engaging, and closing new clients
and its primary responsibility will be to identify potential customers, demonstrate the value of our cross-border payment and banking solutions, and convert prospects into long-term clients. You must be passionate about sales, eager to learn, and attentive to details. You must also be able to develop a deep understanding of Tensec's products and solutions and the industry to be able to match our offering with the right customer and suggest new product features to enable the long term success and growth of our customers and open new business opportunities for Tensec.

Location: São Paulo
Positions in our hubs are hybrid and include core working days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office. We provide flexible work options based on distance from our hubs. Tensec believes in the power of face-to-face, personal connection. As a result, we prioritize in-person candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential customers in key industries and markets.

  • Qualify inbound leads and generate outbound leads through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Build a pipeline of prospective customers by leveraging CRM tools, industry databases, and market insights.

  • Sales Outreach

  • Initiate and develop relationships with decision-makers at FX correspondents and other businesses who need cross-border financial solutions.

  • Conduct effective discovery calls to understand clients' pain points and financial needs.

  • Product Presentation

  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our digital solutions, including FX transactions, cross-border payments, and US bank accounts.

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and tailor it to specific client use cases.

  • Closing Deals

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to encourage repeat business.

  • Negotiate terms, manage objections, and finalize agreements to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients, coordinating with internal teams as needed.

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Own and drive the country's P&L, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and cost efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

  • Collaboration and Reporting

  • Monitor progress towards meeting sales goals and report results to management.

  • Collaborate with the operations to onboard the customer on the Tensec platform in compliance with all local and global compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts and share insights.
  • Proactively suggest product improvements to the Product team to build the sales pipeline and enhance cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline progress in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Stay up to date on market and industry trends, competition and customer needs and provide feedback to other team members to support company growth and product development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies and experience with outbound prospecting tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality service.

You will stand out if:

  • Knowledge of the Brazilian financial ecosystem and regulations, and a strong understanding of cross-border financial services, FX transactions, and/or digital banking solutions.
  • English and Spanish proficiency (both verbal and written).
  • Experience selling financial products and services.
  • In-office presence in São Paulo City, Faria Lima neighborhood.
