Superbet's Finance team is on the rise, and it's an exciting time to become a part of it. We're looking for enthusiastic and skilled professionals. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the growth and continuous improvement of the Superbet Finance department, in São Paulo.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting with Big 4 experience a plus
- Expertise in Brazilian GAAP and IFRS rules, including a comprehensive understanding of taxes mechanism in Brazil
- Attention to detail and an analytical mindset
- A goal-driven, proactive attitude
- Good written and oral communication skills in both Portuguese and English
- Clear commitment to the team approach exchanging ideas and providing support to colleagues
- Experience working with international teams across time zones
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee and manage the entire accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation in compliance with IFRS
- Account analyses, reconciliations, and monthly closures. Conduct detailed account analyses and reconciliations. Oversee and execute month-end close activities, acting as the accounting subject matter expert
- Maintaining and implementing accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices
- Assisting in regulatory compliance and tax reporting as required
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement
