Senior UI Designer Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Designer to join our team in an on-demand capacity.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic, high-impact design initiatives while supporting overflow project work, ad hoc design needs, and team coverage during PTO.This position requires full-time availability during EST working hours to collaborate with internal and client teams, attend meetings, and deliver design solutions as needed.We welcome remote workers from South America.Key Responsibilities:Supporting active design projects during staff PTO and overflow periodsMentoring and guiding other UI DesignersDefining and implementing visual direction for project rolloutsDeveloping and maintaining design systems and style guidesAdvocating for user-centered design principles with clients and stakeholdersTypical tasks include designing support for Proof of Concepts (POCs) and RFPs, contributing to case studies and internal initiatives, and long-term design maintenance and system updates.Required skills include primary skills such as expertise in Figma, strong understanding of Apple HIG, Google Material Design, and web design best practices, knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, and skilled in design presentation and client communication.Secondary skills include animation and motion design, video editing and print design, 3D modeling, AI/AR/VR experience, user research and usability testing, and Webflow or front-end development experience.Soft skills required are strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, highly proactive and self-motivated, naturally inquisitive, clear, concise communication, and confident and independent decision-making ability.Benefits include annual review of Apple HIG, Google Material, and Web Best Practices, ongoing skill development through Figma training and cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a professional environment that values user-centered design principles.
