We are seeking a remote, full-time AI Systems Architect to lead the design, implementation and operationalization of AI-native services that transform the utility sector.As a key member of our engineering team, you will report directly to the CTO and operate within small, agile teams alongside software engineers, security experts and product managers.You will own the full lifecycle of AI services from data ingestion and model training to real-time deployment and monitoring.Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable, secure and production-ready AI systems for utility use cases, including predictive operations, customer engagement and energy optimizationDevelop APIs, microservices and orchestration frameworks seamlessly connecting AI models with enterprise systems and grid-level data flowsManage the complete AI pipeline ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation and continuous deployment ensuring reliability and scalabilityRequired Experience:Excellent English communication skills5+ years of applied ML/AI engineering experience ideally with exposure to enterprise/mission-critical systemsStrong proficiency in Python and either Golang, Node.js or Java (non-Golang developers will learn and adopt Golang on the job)Expertise with ML/LLM frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain or equivalent
