Job Title: AI SpecialistAbout AnswerThis:An AI-powered research platform built to eliminate literature reviews.Serves researchers globally, from PhD students to professionals.We understand how papers connect, rank relevance, summarize insights, and map citations.This removes manual work.Our system streamlines every stage of academic discovery.We are building a vertically integrated AI research suite.This is the place to design algorithms that directly accelerate science in medicine, AI, climate, and more.The Role:Lead the development of core intelligence behind AnswerThis.Deep expertise in information retrieval, scalable backend systems, and generative AI required.You will:Build and optimize semantic search pipelines, graph-based retrieval, and agentic systems.Design and deploy scalable APIs and services for hundreds of concurrent requests.Architect, implement, and productionize vector databases and embedding-based retrieval systems.Work on GenAI integrations including react agents, graph agents, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration.Set up full-stack search engines from scratch for real-world academic workloads.Contribute to infrastructure making cutting-edge science more efficient.This role requires real ownership, experimentation, and shipping production systems impacting thousands of researchers worldwide.Requirements:Strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval.Skilled in Python for backend development with scalable API skills.Past experience deploying systems at scale, including search engines, retrieval pipelines, or embedding models.Ability to design infrastructure for hundreds of concurrent requests.Experience setting up and hosting public-facing APIs while balancing speed, cost, and reliability.Research-driven and pragmatic mindset focused on measurable outcomes.Benefits:A full-time role with significant responsibility and long-term upside.
