Our purpose ecoPortal health and safety engagement software helps organisations amplify workplace safety.We give leaders the data they need to create awe-inspiring safety cultures that ignite their team's potential.Engaged teams are the beating heart of industry-leading, odds-defying workplaces, and we're committed to helping clients achieve that.Our mission is simple: create engaged cultures and healthier environments for all.Who are we?We're a true tech success story, built from the ground up, with a vision of transforming the health and safety industry as we know it.We're anchored by our commitment to championing people.That commitment begins from within...with our very own team.Our team culture is an organic creation built by our people, for our people.Differences are celebrated here, and we firmly believe that our diverse lived experiences work together to make us stronger as a whole.You can see more about our story hereWe create intuitive health and safety software that people want to use, giving businesses the visibility and data they need to prevent risks and build stronger, safer workplaces and safety cultures.Safety isn't just a department, it's a culture that involves everyone, from frontline workers to the boardroom.ecoPortal makes safety simple, visible, and shared, with an intuitive interface that people actually want to use.We help create stronger engagement, fewer incidents, and measurable improvements that drive both culture and performance.The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Content Writer to join our talented team.As the Product Content Writer, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality knowledge base content that helps customers get the most out of ecoPortal.You'll combine your expertise in clear, engaging writing with a passion for exploring the product firsthand, diving into features, workflows, and functionality to fully understand how things work before translating that knowledge into step-by-step guides, articles, and FAQs that are easy for customers to follow.You'll support the management of the knowledge base, contribute to the help content strategy, and help ensure that changes resulting from new product releases are updated in the documentation in a timely fashion.You'll collaborate closely with Product, Services, CustomerSuccess, and Marketing to ensure content (and terminology) is consistent, user-friendly, and aligned with customer needs.Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you'll combine technical precision, clarity, and a customer-first mindset to deliver content that empowers our customers, increases adoption, and supports a seamless customer experience.Key responsibilities:Knowledge base content creation: create articles based on a range of topics related to the ecoPortal product and its features, providing a comprehensive resource for customers to understand and self-serve.Release support: keep the knowledge base up to date by incorporating new features and functionality in time for product releases, ensuring customers have the resources they need to adopt new capabilities.Be customer-focused: write clear, concise guides, articles, and FAQs to help customers easily understand and get the most from ecoPortal.Collaboration: work closely with Product, Services, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate technical updates into customer-friendly content.Content quality & accessibility: ensure all written material meets high standards for clarity and incorporates ecoPortal's warm and engaging tone of voice.Alignment & findability : contribute to the ecoPortal Knowledge Base taxonomy and product glossary, ensuring clarity, consistency, and that content is easily found.Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.2+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in customer-facing product documentation.SaaS or technology spaces will be viewed favourably.Exceptional level of English, both written and verbal.Ability to balance technical accuracy with an engaging tone of voice.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content pieces at once.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused outputs.Experience with content management systems, knowledge base platforms, and collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence/Jira, Pendo, HubSpot, or similar) is desirable.Perks & Benefits:We hope that you're excited by the possibilities that come with working at ecoPortalIn addition to our welcoming and diverse culture, we also offer these fun perks and benefits.37-Hour Work Week & Flexible Working: We prioritise work-life balance by offering a 37-hour workweek and flexible working arrangements.Some of your working hours will be aligned with the New Zealand time zone to ensure collaboration with the team.??
