Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT projects in the telecommunications sector.Key Responsibilities:Plan, lead and deliver multiple concurrent projects ensuring completion on time, within budget and to expected quality standards.Oversee project financial milestones, including billing control, cost management and revenue recognition.Lead and inspire multicultural implementation teams across different countries and time zones as part of a matrix-based organization.Prepare and deliver operational and executive status presentations to stakeholders and customers.Supervise implementation teams, proactively managing risks and issue resolution.Support sales activities by reviewing and validating technical proposals and SoWs providing effort estimates and creating deployment schedules.Ensure adherence to recognized IT project management methodologies and best practices.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business major in Computing or applicable industry experience.Minimum 10 years experience in hands-on IT project management including complex long duration projects (10+ people, 1+ year duration).Minimum 5 years experience in delivering telco related enterprise software solutions preferably with strong knowledge of BSS/OSS architecture.Minimum 5 years experience creating and managing project budgets and managing project profitability.Minimum 5 years experience scoping, forecasting, issue and risk management.Minimum 5 years experience managing multiple projects with proven experience managing distributed teams in remote multicultural environments matrix organization.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as MS Project or similar.PMP certification or at least in-depth knowledge of PMP methodology is highly desirable.Desired Competencies and Soft SkillsProven experience in working within a 100% matrix-based organization.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience working directly with both business and technical stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Hands-on personality by showing and demonstrating to the team.Strong organizational skills with capacity to manage multiple projects in parallel.Financial acumen to manage budgets, costs and revenue recognition.Problem-solving mindset, adaptability and track record of delivering high-quality results.Language: Fluent Portuguese and English are required.Travel up to 50%
