Ascendion is a full-service digital engineering solutions company.We make and manage software platforms and products that power growth and deliver captivating experiences to consumers and employees.Our engineering, cloud, data, experience design, and talent solution capabilities accelerate transformation and impact for enterprise clients.Headquartered in New Jersey, our workforce of 6,000+ Ascenders delivers solutions from around the globe.Ascendion is built differently to engineer the next.We have a culture built on opportunity, inclusion, and a spirit of partnership.Come, change the world with us:- Build the coolest tech for world's leading brands- Solve complex problems – and learn new skills- Experience the power of transforming digital engineering for Fortune 500 clients- Master your craft with leading training programs and hands-on experienceExperience a community of change makersJoin a culture of high-performing innovators with endless ideas and a passion for tech.Our culture is the fabric of our company, and it is what makes us unique and diverse.The way we share ideas, learning, experiences, successes, and joy allows everyone to be their best at Ascendion.About the Role:- Role: Senior UX/UI Designer- Location: Brazil (Remote)- Employment Type: ContractKey Responsibilities- Lead the full UX/UI design process, from research and discovery to prototyping and final delivery.- Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analysis to uncover user insights and pain points.- Translate research findings into personas, user flows, journey maps, and wireframes that guide product direction.- Develop high-fidelity UI designs and maintain design systems that ensure cross-platform consistency.- Define and advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.- Independently identify design opportunities, propose solutions, and make strategic design decisions.- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, usability, and design consistency.- Present design rationale and research-backed recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.Must-Have Requirements- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing research-driven design decisions.- Proven ability to independently lead design initiatives from concept to execution.- Expertise in user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability studies, A/B testing).- Strong proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro, etc.).- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.- Solid knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.- Ability to simplify complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-design stakeholders.- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics).- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
