Financial Operations SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to automate our accounting systems, improve processes, and create clear financial reports to support our growth.The ideal candidate will have solid accounting and bookkeeping skills, with experience in QuickBooks Online setup/configuration.
They should also be digitally savvy, able to streamline processes and leverage automation tools.Key Responsibilities:Improve the setup/configuration of QuickBooks Online for our entity, including the chart of accounts, bank feeds, and automation rules.Manage and automate accounting and financial tasks such as reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting.Migrate existing financial tools from Excel/Google Sheets into a new automated reporting app for two entities, including cashflow reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.Required Skills:Solid accounting and bookkeeping skills.Digitally savvy, with ability to streamline processes and leverage automation tools.Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive about process improvements.Comfortable working in a start-up environment: resourceful, flexible, and solution-oriented.Why This Role:Flexible, remote freelance role.Opportunity to shape our finance operations from the ground up.Work closely with founders and gain exposure to the fast-growing recruitment industry.
