Compliance professionals play a crucial role in ensuring organizations operate within legal boundaries.About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to spearhead our compliance initiatives.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in internal controls, regulatory compliance, or risk management within financial institutions, fintechs, or virtual asset service providers (VASPs).Main Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and test the company's internal controls system, ensuring alignment with Brazilian laws and global compliance standards.Oversee the regulatory compliance framework, including corporate policies, compliance testing, and audit readiness.Manage the Asset Segregation framework according to Central Bank of Brazil's and other related regulations.Establish and maintain effective transfer and custody controls for client and company assets.Coordinate internal reviews and remediation actions based on control testing outcomes or regulatory findings.Oversee the creation and maintenance of mandatory compliance policies, including third-party risk and service provider management.Requirements:Legally resident in Brazil.Senior-level experience (minimum 7 years) in internal controls, compliance, or risk management.Demonstrated operational independence and familiarity with control frameworks under the Central Bank of Brazil, COAF, and CVM.Proven understanding of asset segregation, audit principles, and compliance testing methodologies.Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills; fluent in Portuguese and English.The selected candidate must meet fit and proper standards with no disqualifying factors, including not having been declared bankrupt or insolvent, unblemished reputation, knowledge of the line of business, services to be provided, and crypto segment, as well as crypto market dynamics and the risks associated with those activities.We value accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct across teams.Your Skills:Regulatory complianceRisk managementInternal controlsCrypto regulationAsset segregationAudit principlesCompliance testingFintechVASPs
