Transforming Healthcare Staffing through AI EngineeringJob Description:We are building a cutting-edge SaaS platform to revolutionize healthcare staffing.Our mission is to harness the power of AI to streamline recruiting, automate data flows, and unlock insights from our knowledge base.As an AI Engineer – Data & Automation, you will design and build intelligent systems that bring structure, insight, and automation to our staffing workflows.You will turn unstructured data into actionable intelligence using retrieval-augmented generation, document intelligence, and structured extraction.This role has a significant impact on our business, and you will own the development and implementation of our AI function.You will define architecture, best practices, and solutions that become foundational for our platform and business.Time-to-fill will decrease by *****% as OCR, parsing, validation, and posting reduce manual touches from hours to minutes.Zero-drama compliance will be ensured through primary-source checks, expirations, and audit logs built in.Revenue and margin will increase as accurate pay-package math and cleaner timesheets reduce adjustments/write-offs.Cash flow will increase as invoice creation from approved time, automated AR, and payroll sync reduce DSO and billing errors.Recruiter capacity will increase as AI SMS cadences and clean data flows speed shortlists and follow-through.Decision speed will improve with live sheets/excel/power bi replacing weekly spreadsheet marathons.Platform rigor will be maintained with MLOps, observability, and cost governance keeping AI stable, safe, and affordable.Your responsibilities will include building document AI pipelines, compliance automation, workflow integrations, text message automation, customer support & knowledge base automation, marketing & CMS automation, pay package automation, finance, accounting & payroll automation, knowledge assistants, and live reporting.You will also be responsible for MLOps & Platform tasks including dataset/prompt/embedding versioning, CI/CD for data and models, rollbacks, feature flags, latency/reliability SLOs, canary/blue-green, durable orchestration and state, observability, drift detection, PII/HIPAA redaction, RBAC, audit logs, and cost governance.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you must have strong software engineering skills in Python and/or C#, hands-on LLM/RAG experience, document ingestion at scale, secure auditable data design, experience integrating enterprise systems, MLOps fundamentals, and more.
