We invite a highly experienced and proactive Android Software Engineer to join our team.
You'll manage the full software development life cycle – designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex Android applications for a leading payments technology company.
In an agile environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical designs, refine development standards, and ensure code quality through best practices and thorough reviews.

3+ years of Android development experienceExpertise in native Android development with Java and KotlinStrong understanding of MVVM and modern Android architecture patternsHands-on experience with popular Android libraries and integrationsKnowledge of secure coding practices, including build obfuscation and encryptionExcellent communication skills for documentation, planning, and collaborationStrong critical thinking and attention to detailResourcefulness, self-motivation, and a team player mindsetDesirable:Experience with third-party device integration (watches, payment terminals, etc.)Understanding of client-server full-stack architectureUnderstanding of Pub/Sub and Producer/Consumer messaging patternsExperience with encryption frameworks and utilities like HTTPS, TLS, SHA-256, and Cipher Block ChainingKey responsibilities and your contributionIn this role, you'll drive the development of innovative Android applications, working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and impactful solutions.Develop, maintain, and enhance Android apps based on business needs and technical designsOwn feature development from requirements to delivery, ensuring performance, security, and reliabilityWork with developers, architects, testers, and analysts to create technical designs for feature groupsCollaborate with product owners, BAs, and stakeholders to refine requirements and break down tasks into manageable subtasks for efficient deliveryMentor developers, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality code standardsConduct code reviews and ensure 100% code review coverageWrite unit and functional tests; assist QA with reviewing, creating, and delivering functional automation tests What's working at Dev.Pro like?
