A highly skilled Linux engineer is required to maintain and enhance real-time data systems.The role involves handling alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements to ensure uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Key responsibilities include resolving data quality issues, support on-call, incident management, problem, and change managements.Ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.The ideal candidate will work closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience, enriching the team's capability and providing high-quality services.Responsibilities also include managing alerts that require knowledge for resolutions, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge base, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules where possible.Incident management involves managing incident lifecycle from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in the production environment.Change management includes making production changes to the ticker plant like mandatory updates which includes content, software changes/upgrades that are performed by vendors or internal teams where only checkouts are necessary.Additional responsibilities include release management, event management, user support, reporting, and others.
