We're seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of high-performance data systems.This role involves managing incident response, problem resolution, and system improvements to ensure uptime and optimal performance for global trading and data services.Key Responsibilities:Root cause analysis and management of internal and external vendors to resolve data quality issues.Support on-call duties, incident management, problem resolution, and change management.Optimize data accuracy and timeliness on a real-time basis by implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborate with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience.L2 Alert Management: resolving alerts that require technical expertise, creating/updating resolutions in knowledge bases, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules.Incident Management: managing the lifecycle of incidents from identification to resolution, ensuring minimal business impact in production environments.Change Management: overseeing production changes to the ticker plant, including mandatory updates, content changes, software upgrades, and vendor-performed checkouts.Additional responsibilities include Release Management, Event Management, User Support, and Reporting.This role requires a minimum of 7 years' experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles, with expertise in Linux System Administration.Proficiency in scripting (Bash and/or Python preferred) is also essential.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY (Wombat/Vela), or Market Data platforms (Refinitiv TREP/RTDS, Bloomberg)Familiarity with AWS ECS, AWS VPC, Google CloudExperience with GitHub/GitLab and automation pipelines
