Position Summary
Responsible for greeting RV guests, helping them find the appropriate RV space to camp in, letting the guests know what services are available, and being the face of Mt Bachelor for our new RV guests and ambassador for our RV community.
Use of a loader or plow truck to remove snow from RV lanes or parking lots as needed.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities- First customer service contact with Guests.
- Checking RV reservations and helping RV guests find their reserved space.
- Using i-pad/tablet to check in RV Guests.
Secondary Function- Setting up RV parking structure.
(Cones and ropes or other).
- Taking down the RV parking structure.
(Cones and ropes or other).
- Maintaining the RV parking structure.
(Cones and ropes or other).
- Communicating with Public Safety to resolve compliance issues.
- Communicating with snow removal as it may pertain to the RV parking.
- Use of a loader or plow truck to remove snow from RV lanes or parking lots after approved training and equipment availability allows.
- Filling cinder buckets.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Scope
The RV Parking Attendant is responsible for maintaining functioning RV parking areas.
Hours are late afternoon to late evening.
- Drive a rig as needed on Mt. Bachelor property and up/down to Bend to keep the work schedule and execute RV parking lot operations.
- Using equipment to remove snow from RV lanes and the parking lot as needed.
Interpersonal Contacts
First contact with guests as they arrive at Mt. Bachelor.
RV Parking Attendant has interactions with guests, Public Safety, snow removal, and other departments.
RV Parking Attendants should possess the ability to relate to and communicate with guests and other employees, and should have good mountain knowledge to answer guest questions.
Radio communication with other departments as needed.
Specific Job Skills- License/Certifications: Current and valid driver's license needed.
- Technical: Use of iPad/tablet to check in paid parking guests.
- Physical Capabilities: This is an outside position that requires good physical condition and the ability to be outside in all weather conditions.
- Additional: Must have excellent guest service skills.
Education/Related Experience- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum time in related position: Resort experience and/or experience exposed to inclement weather is preferred.
