Electrical Maintenance Technician Wärtsilä Energy leads the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future.We help our partners to accelerate their decarbonisation journeys through our market-leading technologies and power system modelling expertise.These cover decarbonisation services, future-fuel enabled balancing power plants, hybrid solutions, energy storage and optimisation technology, including the GEMS Digital Energy Platform.Did you know Wärtsilä has delivered 79 GW of power plant capacity and more than 130 energy storage installations in 180 countries around the world?In this fast changing world of energy, we are constantly on the lookout for future-oriented talent to join our team and to work towards enabling sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services - together.Want to join the ride?We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician, to join our team in Manaus, Brazil.Main responsabilities:• Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on the plant's machinery and equipment, identifying the needs for repair or replacement of parts, in order to guarantee the reliability and functionality of the equipment• Carry out repairs to the compressors and emergency generator, identifying the need to change parts and their control systems, in order to guarantee their functionality• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, describing the scope of services performed and informing about possible faults identified• Perform services related to office building maintenance such as cable laying, lighting, minor repairs to electrical distribution boards• Watch over the tools and equipment under your responsibility, as well as cleaning, organizing and hygiene the areas involved in the process.Requirements:Complete Technical Training - Electrical and others authorized by current legislation.Knowledge in:• Programmable logic control (PLC)• Electrical circuits• InstrumentationPressure transmitters, PT100, Thermocouples, Speed Sensors, Transducers, etc.• Communication networks• Frequency inverters and supervisors• Maintenance of electrical components• Small and medium sized electric motors• Basic English• Knowledge of procedures and guidelines on Quality, Environment and Safety at Work Skills:• Organization• Planning• Solution of problems• Teamwork• Interpersonal relationships• Flexibility Last application date: 28/10/2025 At Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.Please note that according to Wärtsilä policy, voluntary consent for a security check may be required from candidates being considered for this position, depending on the applicable country.This is Wärtsilä
