Hartmann Young is partnered with a fast-growing global leader in health, nutrition, and wellness ingredients, known for its science-led innovation and rapid international expansion.As the business continues to scale, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager South America to drive immediate commercial impact and elevate the company's presence across the nutraceutical market.We're looking for someone who brings genuine industry influence, including:A strong book of business and established relationships with brand owners, CMOs/CDMOs, and major consumer health companiesProven success selling key nutraceutical dosage forms — tablets, capsules, softgels, and gummys.If you're commercially driven, well-connected, and excited by the opportunity to shape partnerships in a high-growth environment, this role offers an exceptional platform to make a meaningful and immediate impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business growth by leveraging your existing network and opening high-value commercial opportunitiesDevelop and expand strategic partnerships with global key accounts, brand owners, distributors, and contract manufacturersLead the full business development cycle — from opportunity identification to negotiation and long-term strategic planningTranslate scientific and technical capabilities into compelling commercial propositionsCollaborate closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver integrated go-to-market strategiesManage contracts, commercial terms, and performance optimisation across partnership lifecyclesSupport international expansion through new market development and strategic alliancesRepresent the business at leading industry trade shows and events to strengthen brand visibility and network reach.Key RequirementsYou can be located anywhere within South America to qualify for this market.8+ years' experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership within nutraceuticals, ingredients, food, or life sciences within South America.A well-established book of business and strong relationships across the nutraceutical ecosystemDirect experience selling tablets, capsules, softgels, gummys, or related dosage formsProven ability to generate revenue growth and close complex commercial agreementsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to convert technical innovation into business valueEntrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, hands-on environmentExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel internationally as needed.
