**Background**
The International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG) is a joint project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Brazilian Government to facilitate South-South Cooperation on key development issues.
It was created with the objective of promoting the exchange of knowledge to strengthen technical and institutional capacities for the design, formulation and evaluation of development policies that contribute to inclusive growth, poverty and inequality reduction and human development.
Toward these ends, the IPC-IG not only conducts research but also organises thematic workshops, policy training seminars, advisory and programme evaluation missions for requesting countries, and hosts resident researchers.
The Centre regularly publishes Working Papers, issues of Poverty in Focus, Policy Research Briefs and One Pagers to encourage policy debate and dissemination of knowledge.
The main thematic areas of focus for the IPC-IG are: social protection and related topics such as cash transfers and social/single registries, poverty reduction, rural development, health and nutrition, amongst others.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist project management;
- Assist the monitoring of project activities (disbursements, deliverables and milestones);
- Assist the inclusion of project information and activities in the Atlas/Quantum (ERP) system;
- Assist the elaboration of project reports;
- Assist the performance of operational activities (Human Resources, Finance and Procurement);
- Interact with Project Managers at IPC-IG and other partners;
- Interact with UNDP teams to implement operational activities;
- Keep digital project documents updated.
**Institutional Arrangement**
The Project Clerk will be working under the supervision of the IPC-IG Programme and Operations Analyst.

**Education**:
- Complete Education at High School Level (Ensino Médio Completo) OR
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Development Studies or Administration
**Required Experience**:
- Experience in using computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet).
**Desired additional skills and competencies**
- Experience with South South Cooperation projects;
- Experience in preparing documents of projects such as final reports, mid term reports, disbursement reports, among others;
- Working experience in liasing with projects teams and/or project's partners;
- Knowledge of another UN language is considered an asset ;
- Previous experience in UN Agency will be an asset.
**Required Languages**:
- Portuguese as a native language;
- Proficiency in English
