Responsibilities
Place and follow-up on POs.
Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
Manage problems and schedule changes.
Update ERP.
Coordinate, manage and issue required Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for their commodity.
Ensure issues related to supplier fulfillment are managed proactively.
Develop profile for supplier capability/capacity, to establish procurement strategies for maximum leverage.
POR management, competitive tendering, negotiation, stakeholder buy-off, conducting kick-off meetings.
Facilitate and/or lead supplier manufacturability discussions with the appropriate stakeholders; develop and manage successful relationships with external and internal customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
Maintain current market knowledge and changing material conditions; advise management of current trends in prices and purchasing availability.
Advise functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
Handle communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
Drive procurement initiatives on savings, supplier performance and supplier base rationalization.
Contribute to project as a team member or lead small projects.
Time horizons typically 2–12 months for results after the event.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant energy-related degree with experience in Sourcing.
Experience in Sourcing/Procurement Management.
Substantial subsea well systems contract management experience in an oil and gas capital construction project environment.
Proven track record in improving sourcing profitability, cash flow and control of commercial risk.
Commercially, financially and contractually experienced with strategic and tactical communication capabilities.
Strong leadership in a matrix environment and ability to be a change agent with positive outcomes.
Ability to work with detail and deliver fast commercial results.
Proven track record to develop sub-contract managers and establish succession plans.
Fluent English and Portuguese.

Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and solve problems analytically.
