Job Title: Operations DirectorAbout this Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to lead our manufacturing operations in Brazil.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production of assembled products.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and drive business growth while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the plant meets safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity objectives.Lead a team of functional managers across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, EHS, and Quality.Oversee daily production activities and drive innovation and process improvements.Collaborate with Sales to ensure effective SIOP processes.Promote a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations.Guarantee product quality and lead root cause analysis initiatives.Champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.8-10 years of experience.Strong command of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management and SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning).
Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (ISO standards, certifications, audits, and customer requirements).
Deep knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and best practices.Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, capital investment, and KPI-driven performance management.Strong labor relations expertise, including union negotiations and collective bargaining management.Advanced skills in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.What We Offer:A competitive compensation package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and innovation.
