Job Overview:The role of a Financial Controller is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and stability of an organization.This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to achieve organizational goals, taking into account market trends and potential risks.Budgeting and Forecasting:Create detailed budgets and forecasts that accurately reflect projected revenues and expenses, providing insights for informed decision-making.External Compliance:Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies, collaborating with external accounting firms to maintain accurate financial records.Internal Controls:Strengthen internal controls, promoting best practices in governance and operational efficiency.Team Leadership:Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:Proven experience in controllership and corporate finance, preferably within the mining, energy, or infrastructure sectors.Skills:Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, contracts, and internal controls.Personal Qualities:Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented profile with the ability to work independently.
