Software Development ExpertAscendion seeks a skilled Software Development Expert to design, develop and maintain APIs using Apigee, Krakend or AWS API Gateway.Primary Responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC and GraphQL.Implement backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Angular.Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment, scaling and monitoring.Utilize CI/CD pipelines (ADO Pipelines), GitHub, Docker and Kubernetes to manage code, build processes and deployments.Write robust unit, integration and automated tests using tools such as Cucumber and Mockito.Contribute to cross-organization API standards, documentation and best practices.Collaborate with agile/scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of overall professional experience.Java (Spring Boot):API development:API management (Apigee/Krakend/AWS Gateway): 3 yearsCloud platforms (AWS/GCP):JavaScript/TypeScript:React/Angular:Strong understanding of API protocols and architectural patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).Proficiency with CI/CD, GitHub, Docker and Kubernetes.Experience writing automated tests (Cucumber, Mockito).Ability to write clear documentation and contribute to API governance efforts.
