We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in building the core platform that enables power utilities to shift from decades-old legacy systems into an AI-native future.Candidates must have a strong background in React and experience with Golang, Node.js, or Java.A strong desire to adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology is required.In this position, you will play a foundational role in designing and implementing AI-integrated services delivered at startup speed.You will work closely with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers to build a robust and scalable platform.This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design capability, and a builder mindset who thrives in a dynamic environment.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code in fast-moving teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.The client is building an AI-centric operating system for utilities, harnessing AI at the enterprise level to better orchestrate customer delight, facilitate power optimization, improve the health of the grid, and unlock flexibility at scale.Funded by a strategic industry partner, the client is poised to transform how utilities run and how customers experience energy.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement front-end applications using ReactDevelop and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems using Golang, Node.js, or JavaCollaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systemsTransform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practicesEnsure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations and implement secure coding practices by defaultRequired Skills and QualificationsExcellent English communication skills5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environmentsStrong proficiency in React, Python, and GolangDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teamsBASIC PROFICIENCY WITH AI/ML TOOLING (e.g., CALLING APIs, INTEGRATING MODEL OUTPUTS)Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architecturesCloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)About This OpportunityYou will work in a collaborative environment with experienced professionals who share your passion for AI and software development.Our company offers flexible working arrangements, opportunities for growth and professional development, and a competitive compensation package.
