OverviewAmazon Brazil is looking for a dynamic Senior Retail Manager to play an important role within the Retail team by adding selection, analyzing business data, driving vendor performance, negotiating terms and handling promotions.
You will work with Brazilian and global vendors to drive all aspects of terms improvements, which includes analysis and projections, as well as direct negotiations with decision makers in local vendors.
Additionally, you will increase product category sales, by auditing vendors performances, driving store marketing promotions, negotiating partners to improve selection, and reacting to industry-related economic trends.Key job responsibilities and qualifications are described below.ResponsibilitiesOwn the Retail business end-to-end for subcategories or vendor groups, including the entire P&L, from topline to free cash flow.Drive selection, secure great prices, and increase convenience/speed to accelerate Amazon's flywheel.
Audit and escalate the performance of vendors, focusing on top vendors while managing lower-tier vendors.Act as the owner of vendor relationships: negotiate terms and cost structures, develop long-term partnerships, and drive topline and selection for category growth.Collaborate with central and functional teams to represent customer and business needs, drive customer-facing improvements, and implement centrally driven initiatives within the category.Analyze and communicate complex terms and margin structures; work with Finance and Inventory Management and other teams as needed.Basic QualificationsTeam management experience;Account management, project or program management or buying experience;Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion or inventory management;Master's degree;Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL;Experience using data to influence business decisions;Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration;Experience with business analysis and P&L management.Preferred QualificationsExperience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teamsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
