Position Title:Senior Native Android Engineer
Location:Cubao, Quezon City
Experience Required:At least 6–7 years of professional Android development experience
This is a temporary role - Freelance for 2 months

About the Role
We are looking for aSenior Native Android Engineerwho will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our existing Native Android mobile application. The ideal candidate is highly skilled inKotlin, experienced withAndroidX components, and passionate about delivering scalable and robust mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain an existing Native Android mobile application usingKotlin
UtilizeAndroidX componentsfor UI development and data handling
Integrate third-party libraries and services such asFirebase
Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code followingMVVM/MVParchitecture patterns
Implement and maintaininteractive map features(markers, layers, clustering, heatmaps)
Developgeospatial featuresincluding routing, navigation, geofencing, and tracking
Manageoffline maps, tile caching, and smooth map interactions
Process and handle geospatial data formats such asGeoJSONandKML

Qualifications
Minimum6–7 years of hands-on experiencein Android app development
Strong expertise inKotlinand Android native frameworks
Solid understanding ofMVVM/MVPdesign patterns
Experience withFirebaseand third-party integrations
Proficiency in working withmaps, geospatial data, and offline caching
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
