Job Title: Cloud Solutions DeveloperAt Everup, we extend consumer budgets during rising living costs by blending savings with enjoyment.We offer a unique gamified shopping experience in the branded prepaid and curated goods market, helping customers save money while bringing entertainment and excitement.The Backend Cloud Engineer will work across our event-driven, serverless stack to maintain and evolve production systems.They will add features, fix bugs, improve performance and cost, tighten security, and raise reliability—while collaborating closely with Mobile/Web.The successful candidate will have 8+ years building/maintaining production backends and 4+ years with AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).They must be proficient in JavaScript/Node.js, have strong REST API fundamentals and event-driven patterns, and solid SQL/NoSQL skills.They should also have experience maintaining IaC (SAM/CloudFormation) and CI/CD (Code Pipeline), a security-first mindset, and practical debugging/troubleshooting chops (OWASP).Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing.Requirements:8+ years of experience in building and maintaining production backends.4+ years of experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, REST API fundamentals, and event-driven patterns.Solid SQL/NoSQL skills and experience with IaC (SAM/CloudFormation) and CI/CD (Code Pipeline).A security-first mindset and practical debugging/troubleshooting chops (OWASP).
