Cloud Developer OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to support and develop new tools and processes for our private cloud application.This role involves communicating technical concepts clearly, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop high-performance cloud technologies using Python as the main programming language;Deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests, improving the software development life cycle;Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate in all aspects of an agile software development process;Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy private cloud platforms aimed at distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Required Skills and QualificationsSolid backend developer (preferably but not restricted to Python), knowledgeable in Linux Essentials:Moderate knowledge in concepts of hardware, processes, programs, and the components of the Linux Operating System;Familiarity with working on the command line and with files;Familiarity with creating and restoring compressed backups and archives;System security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories;Familiarity with creating and running simple scripts;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers;Knowledge of cloud computing concepts;Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with Senior Technical Leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.);Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (design infrastructure that involves one or more Kubernetes clusters, configure, control, and monitor Kubernetes clusters);Experience with Docker;Experience with Helm.About UsWe hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications, and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.Contact InformationTo learn more about this opportunity, please visit our website.
