At the forefront of innovation, we're seeking a seasoned backend engineer to spearhead development for high-traffic applications.With a focus on security, efficiency, and scalability, you'll be responsible for driving the entire development lifecycle from conception to delivery.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement secure, efficient, and high-quality codeDevelop scalable and reusable code to promote efficient developmentIdentify areas for improvement in the codebase and drive optimization effortsCommunicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaborationProactively resolve issues and adapt to changing prioritiesRequirements:Hands-on experience building production web applications in an agile startup environmentExperience with Ruby on Rails and migrating domains from monolithic to microservicesInterest in learning or exposure to event-based architectureTeam player mentality and passion for solving complex technical problemsCollaborative mindset and ability to work independentlyBenefits:This is a contract role with full benefits paid in local currency
