Regional Controller

Job Title: Regional ControllerBelo Horizonte, Brazil.Our company is a leading provider of mineral drilling exploration services worldwide.Key Responsibilities:Financial reporting, internal controls, local statutory reporting requirements and managing external audits from a regional financial perspective.Achieve annual budgets and business targets in line with company objectives.Communication with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, internal revenue departments and external auditors to coordinate financial objectives.Key Tasks:Efficiency & Coordination functions: Organize accounting and administrative functions across all regions ensuring continuity despite operational volume changes.Accounting functions: Oversee financial functions including accounting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable collection.Financial Reporting: Direct company financial affairs and prepare complete, accurate and timely financial reports and performance analysis for branch/ regional managers and regional VP requirements.Financial Operations Reporting: Participate in weekly operations meetings and manage capex, inventory management and related controls.Contract Review: Review proposals and contracts prior to submission to customers and develop an adequate bidding system.Internal Controls: Implement, evaluate effectiveness and enforce internal control procedures to attain good control over financial matters and financial reporting.Requirements:Leadership: Demonstrate leadership qualities to achieve corporate objectives when dealing with direct report employees, local management and corporate management.Technical Proficiency: Possess an accounting professional designation (or equivalent) and good technical and professional skills acquired through relevant work experience.Communication: Express ideas effectively to individuals or groups in oral or written form and maintain open communication with the Corporate Finance team.Initiative: Take action to achieve goals beyond what is required.Planning and Organizing: Establish a course of action for self and/or others to accomplish business objectives and allocate appropriate time and resources.Computer and Systems Knowledge: Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office programs, as well as TOTVS system.We are already interviewing candidates but receiving more resumes through our email address.Please send your resume in English only.
