Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.What You'll DoWe are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our growing Brazil Finance team.
This role is to be based in Brazil.
You will work alongside existing members of the Brazil Finance team and partner with them and others within Epic to provide day-to-day accounting and transitional assistance, deliver high-quality financial reporting, and support ad hoc finance-related projects for Epic Brazil.
This will enable us to provide complete and accurate financial reporting to the US and the United Kingdom.
The role will take responsibility for building best in class reporting and control structures to ensure that Epic's financial and operational performance is optimized, scalable and clearly communicated on a timely and accurate basis.In this role, you willBe responsible for the management of the financial accounting, including accrual and provision calculations and postings, reconciliations and financial closing activities (monthly and yearly)Financial accounting Reporting for Epic UK and USManagement of the annual statutory auditCollaborate regarding system and process enhancementsFixed asset accounting and administration (including depreciation, asset tracking, and leases)Tax declarations, statistical report preparation and submissionsBe the point of contact for any accounting or transactional queries from the BusinessWhat We're Looking ForFluent in Portuguese and English, any other languages are appreciated3-5 years recent and relevant work experienceBachelor's degree in accounting.
With Active CRCStrong knowledge of General Ledger accounting processes and procedures, ERP systems (Senior Sistemas and Workday are preferable) and MS Excel - Google Sheets is a plusExperience dealing with External Auditor requestsStrong communications and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely mannerAttention to detail, organization and experience in a fast-paced environmentEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEWe pay 100% for benefits for both employees (EEs) and dependents (deps).
