This includes the thorough and timely review of an array of print and digital pieces across Carnegie's portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company's best practices and client-provided standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuality AssuranceReview copy and design content of all electronic and print materials for spelling, grammatical, and stylistic accuracy and consistency, as well as make detailed comparisons of fonts, colors, images, alignment, and textual contentUtilize "best practices" guidelines and ensure all materials adhere to client-provided style guidesFunctionality TestingTest functionality of electronic materials from an end-user perspective, clicking links in emails and completing online forms and applications to ensure all elements work as intended on both desktop and mobile devices and in multiple email clientsCollaboration and Process ImprovementMake suggestions to improve processes and workflows, and contribute to the company's high standards for all client-facing materialsCollaborate on improvements to creative content with copy and design team members, as neededHelp to improve quality assurance processes and checklistsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMulti-talented – visually and linguistically – with the ability to "see" creative content and design from a variety of perspectivesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience proofing/reviewing and/or creating content and design components of electronic and print materials is a plusWorking knowledge of graphic design principles and terminology is a plusStrong attention to detail/consistency, with a keen eye for spotting errorsAbility to multitask and manage aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and project-management skillsAbility to work well independently as well as to collaborate with a teamGreat appreciation for end-user perception and experienceDue to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basisPhysical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periodsCredentials and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent2+ years of experience in marketing, communication, design production, technical support or similarExperience in college admissions is a plusBasic knowledge of applicable software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Documents, and Apple OSWe offerWe welcome new ideas and allow you to make an immediate impact on the team.Flexible Paid time off (PTO for any reason, including sick days (no specified limits) and flexible work schedule.Personal laptop.Health and wellness package.Fully remote.
