Role OverviewAs a Tax Strategic Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company's tax compliance and optimization strategies are aligned with current legislation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement direct and indirect taxes management plans to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns.Monitor tax compliance processes and collaborate closely with internal accounting and finance teams to guarantee tax obligations are met.Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits by coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.Provide insightful analysis on changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, offering strategic recommendations for compliance.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law.Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.Significant experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning.Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits.Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships with diverse stakeholders.Language Skills:Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).Fluent in English (written & spoken) – essential for collaboration with global teams.
