Compliance Specialist RoleWe seek a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to lead client SOC 2 compliance efforts.Key responsibilities include evidence collection, continuous monitoring, and security and compliance program support.This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design capability, and a builder mindset working in small agile teams reporting directly to the CTO.Manage end-to-end SOC 2 compliance processes, including scoping, evidence collection, control implementation, and audit preparation using Vanta's platformStreamline compliance workflows by leveraging Vanta's AI and automation tools for vendor risk assessments and monitoring controlsImplement and oversee continuous monitoring processes to ensure ongoing adherence to SOC 2 requirements and other relevant frameworks (e.g., ISO *****, GDPR)Develop and maintain security and compliance policies, procedures, and documentation within Vantas' centralized platformCollaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient SOC 2 audits utilizing Vanta's tools for real-time evidence and reportingRequired skills and qualifications:To succeed in this role, you will need:3+ years of experience in compliance, information security, or risk management, with a focus on SOC 2 compliance in a SaaS environmentHands-on experience with Vanta or similar compliance automation platformsA strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud security, and data privacy principles
