The operator will move parts manually and with pallet trucks and overhead cranes.Essential ResponsibilitiesMachine metal and plastic parts as specified in drawings and production orders for each machining process (e.g., turning, milling, drilling);Weld plastic parts using rotation and hot air blasting;Perform self-inspection on produced parts;Identify produced parts with an industrial marker, electric pencil, or seal;Read, interpret, and use drawings, procedures, and calibrated instruments;Move equipment and parts with overhead crane, pallet jack, and mechanical arm, according to competency;Follow production plans, mark completion, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and record activities on the Gemba walk monitoring board;Maintain a tidy, orderly, and clean work area following ITT's 6S principles;Perform activities independently without supervision;Store measuring instruments properly, segregate those with expired calibration;Participate in internal and external audits as per procedures and specifications.Position RequirementsHigh school diploma, machining technician or related courses.
Experience operating conventional lathes, milling machines, bench and radial drills, cylindrical grinders, and electrical discharge machining.
Ability to move parts manually and with pallet trucks and overhead cranes.
