Calypso Accounting Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial products, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instance.
This includes developing necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, creating and delivering assigned projects/tasks, and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.The candidate should possess a deep understanding of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, are also essential.Key Responsibilities:Establish a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instanceDevelop necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirementsCreate and deliver assigned projects/tasks, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirementsManage deliverables ensuring transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional/business ownersRequirements:2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on CalypsoStrong knowledge of accounting principlesDeep Knowledge of Financial products cross assetsProven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions (settings) within CalypsoExperience of adherence to governance frameworks / implementation and handover to BAUComprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk managementExcellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate mannerProven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsComfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resourcesExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Spanish speak/write (MUST)
