This role offers the opportunity to work with a top-tier Calypso Partner and market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration of Calypso projects across all major asset classes and sectors.We provide end-to-end project services for clients globally.
As an accounting specialist, your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instanceEstablish necessary solutions to BO/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirementsCreate and deliver assigned projects/tasks and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirementsManage and establish methodology and best practice for BO/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirementsEnsure supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately storedCollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)Submit status reports to stakeholders; coordinate and provide updates to steering committeesWork closely with functional or business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables in relation to the strategic and transformational book of workManage deliverables ensuring transparency of risks, issues and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional/business ownersYou may also act as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements and acceptance criteria.Requirements2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on CalypsoStrong knowledge of accounting principlesDeep Knowledge of Financial products cross assetsProven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions within CalypsoExperience of adherence to governance frameworks/implementation and handover to BAUComprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk managementExcellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate mannerProven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skillsComfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resourcesExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environmentSpanish speak/write (MUST)What We OfferThis role provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
