About the roleSkyflow is a data privacy vault delivered via APIs.It helps companies isolate, protect, govern and use sensitive data such as personal, health or payment information securely without losing usability.Built on a zero-trust architecture meaning no one gets access to data unless explicitly allowed.Looking for a Backend Engineer to support SRE team and help design build and maintain scalable backend services and infrastructure.Combining strong backend development skills with knowledge of SRE practices contributing to reliability automation and optimization of production systems.Requirements5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend developmentExperience supporting infrastructure automation or reliability practices SRE exposure is a plusProficiency in backend programming languages such as Python Go or TypeScriptFamiliarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCPExperience with containerization and orchestration tools Docker KubernetesKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code Terraform CloudFormation and automationHands-on experience with RDBMS and distributed systemsAbility to work collaboratively with SRE and engineering teams to support production systemsUnderstanding of application observability monitoring and performance best practicesResponsibilities:Develop automation and tooling to improve system monitoring incident response and operational efficiencyBUILD AND MAINTAIN INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE USING IAC TECHNOLOGIES LIKE TERRAFORM AND CLOUDFORMATIONCollaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable fault-tolerant architecturesWrite production-grade code Python Go or TypeScript to automate infrastructure management and operational workflowsEstablish and enhance observability practices including metrics logging tracing and alertingParticipate in on-call rotations incident management and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvementContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to support reliable software deliveryPartner with developers to embed reliability and performance best practices throughout the development lifecycleWe offer:Welcome new ideas and allow you to make an immediate impact on the teamFlexible Paid time off PTO for any reason including sick days and flexible work schedulePersonal laptopHealth/Sport BudgetFully remote
