Job Title: Head Of FinanceLevel: ManagementWorking Hours: Full Time(40h/Week)Contract: Employee (CLT)Location: Remote (Brazil)Your TeamYou will report to our Chief Operations Officer and join the Finance team.On TheOrg you can view the complete structure of our organisation, including information about every team member, hiring managers, and the size of each department.Who We Are Looking For We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Head Of Finance to lead the transformation of our financial operations into a data-driven, scalable, and globally compliant structure.The ideal candidate has strong experience in high-growth tech startups or SaaS companies, thrives in distributed and multicultural teams, and knows how to connect finance, data, and technology to drive intelligent decision-making.You'll play a key role in helping Rocket.Chat reach its next stage of maturity — balancing governance, automation, and growth efficiency in a company that powers secure collaboration for clients around the world.Mandatory Hard SkillsProven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance in startups or tech companies (preferably SaaS or open-source models).Strong background in FP&A, Controllership, Accounting, and Financial Planning.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and financial process automation.Solid understanding of global financial operations, including taxation and compliance in the US, Brazil, and Europe.Solid knowledge of processes and budgetary controls.Proficiency in strategically managing cash balance/runway, financial modelling, forecasting, and performance metrics (MRR, LTV, CAC, churn, margins).Knowledge of international accounting standards (specifically US GAAP).Fluent English communication skills (reports and meetings in English).Proven ability to restructure and develop finance teams, while embedding agile methodologies and governance frameworks to drive process optimization and strategic alignment.Desirable Hard SkillsExperience in open-source or hybrid SaaS/enterprise business models.Familiarity with CRM and payment integrations (Zoho, Stripe, Jira).Understanding of data analytics and BI tools (Power BI, Zoho Analytics).Exposure to fundraising, Series A/B stages, M&A and investor relations.Experience collaborating with technical and data teams (e.g., AWS cost efficiency, data pipelines, metric creation).Soft Skills Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for what you do and how it contributes to our mission of enabling secure, open, and collaborative communication worldwide.Dream: Proactively seek opportunities and challenges to achieve extraordinary results — bringing a growth mindset and ambition to scale a global company.Own: Show strong ownership and accountability by taking responsibility for outcomes, maintaining high standards, and fostering both structure and innovation to deliver meaningful impact.Trust: Build trust through reliability and empathy, fostering collaboration across distributed teams and time zones.Share: Communicate openly and transparently, ensuring clarity and honesty in all interactions — especially when connecting finance with data and operations.Self-Awareness & Growth Mindset: Self-awareness (desire and ability to constructively critique performance) and ability to identify root-cause of errors and seek continuous improvement.What You'll Do Lead the financial transformation of Rocket.Chat — redesigning processes, governance, and structure to support sustainable global growth.Oversee all financial operations (A/P, A/R, treasury, payroll, and accounting – both internal and 3rd-party service providers);
