OverviewAs a Product Data Specialist, you'll be directly impacting our results through insights and reports.
You'll work close to product managers, researchers, and other business stakeholders, helping with prioritization, assessments, and business recommendations.
It will be your responsibility, alongside the Analytics team, to nurture a data-driven culture within the company, making data easier to consume, whether through interactive reports, easy-to-use datasets, documentation, or training.ResponsibilitiesModeling & Analysis: Tackle a complex marketplace with varying signals.
Employ advanced SQL and intermediate Python or R to identify gaps, insights, or optimizations.
Work on analyses and models ranging from simple A/B tests to multivariate models on retention or ETA.Reporting: Understand the needs of teams you collaborate with and help the Analytics team create and maintain a trusted, user-friendly reporting system.
Primarily use Tableau and Metabase.Analytics Engineering: Occasionally work on the inner layers of the Data Warehouse to provide clean, documented datasets for reports and end users.
Convert business needs into a reliable single source of truth using DBT for data transformations; SQL experience is a must.QualificationsExperience: 4+ years in data & analytics at data-driven companiesEducation: STEM or business background or relevant education that enables you to empower the organization to be more data-drivenLearning Mindset: Ability to deeply understand problems, ask the right questions, and adapt to your business's unique needs rather than applying pre-set processesTeam Player: Able to collaborate with exceptional people and foster an environment of trust and intellectual honestyBusiness Focus: Understand how analytics connect with product, customers, and financials; can translate metrics from high to low levelsBias for Action: Balance careful analysis with progress; comfortable being scrappy and avoiding perfectionism when neededRequirements ReminderVery important: Upload your English resume with your application (applications without it will not be considered).
