We are seeking a skilled software engineer with 5+ years of experience in developing high-quality code in fast-paced environments.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React.js and proficiency in either Golang, Node.js, or Java, with a willingness to learn and adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology.Key ResponsibilitiesFront-End Development: Design, implement, and maintain front-end applications that provide seamless user experiences.Back-End Architecture & Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of our operating system.AI Integration: Work closely with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systems, ensuring outputs are production-ready and aligned with enterprise utility requirements.System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practices and leverage industry-leading tools and technologies.Security & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations, implementing secure coding practices by default and continuously monitoring for vulnerabilities.Agile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliability and quality.RequirementsExcellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.Strong proficiency in React, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or Java (non-Golang developers will learn and adapt Golang on the job).Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams and participate in continuous learning and growth.BASIC PROFICIENCY WITH AI/ML TOOLING (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs).Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architectures.Cloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ability to work with multiple cloud providers.Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over time.Strong sense of ownership and accountability in small teams and commitment to delivering results.Our operating system harnesses AI at the enterprise level to better orchestrate customer delight, facilitate power optimization, improve the health of the grid, and unlock flexibility at scale.By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to shaping the future of the industry.
