: We're looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join an early-stage startup working at the cutting edge of aerospace and satellite communications. This role blends backend engineering, data infrastructure, and light ML within a mission-driven environment that's optimizing space-to-ground communications. You'll work hands-on with a small, senior team under the guidance of technical founders. We value versatility - this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys jumping between APIs, optimization models, RF systems, and backend services. English fluency is a MUST for this role Only candidates with level C1 or C2 will be considered: A1 Beginner A2 Elementary B1 Intermediate B2 Upper-Intermediate C1 Advanced C2 Proficient Responsibilities: Build and maintain data pipelines and backend services using Python and Rust Develop systems that optimize communication between satellites and Earth Contribute to API design, predictive ML integration, and algorithmic optimization Explore and model graph-based communication networks and topologies Collaborate with domain experts in RF/telecom to engineer practical solutions Participate in the full development lifecycle: design, test, deploy, monitor, iterate Requirements: 6 years in backend/data engineering or full-stack development Strong experience with Python and modern software engineering practices Exposure to graph theory, optimization problems, or predictive modeling Ability to work across abstraction layers—from infrastructure to application logic Self-starter comfortable in startup environments and highly cross-functional work Experience with API design and scalable microservice architecture Excellent written and verbal communication skills Background in predictive ML or data-driven optimization Nice To Have: Experience in aerospace, space systems, or satellite communications Familiarity with RF systems, networking, routers, or data center architectures Working knowledge of Rust
