Job OverviewAs a full stack Ruby on Rails developer, you will play a pivotal role in building software solutions for the vacation rental industry. With a focus on creating scalable and maintainable code, you will work closely with the CTO to break down large projects into manageable tasks and execute on those projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop full stack code using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript, deploying it via Heroku.Collaborate with the CTO to plan and execute large-scale projects, breaking them down into smaller, shippable components.Design and implement API integrations with third-party software providers.Create intelligent scripts and integrations to automate WiFi management tasks.Review and contribute to pull requests on GitHub.Requirements3+ years of experience as a full stack Ruby on Rails developer.Product-minded approach to software development, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.Strong understanding of IoT, WiFi, and sophisticated API integrations.Desire to learn about business operations and gain exposure beyond coding.BenefitsOpportunity to work directly with the CTO and CEO on critical projects.Mentorship from senior engineers and the CTO to develop skills and expertise.Potential salary increases or hourly rate adjustments based on performance and contributions.Chance to learn about running a sustainable business and its growth strategies.Impactful work environment with a small team, enabling significant contributions to the company's success.
