We are seeking a skilled Game Experience Designer to join our studio and contribute to the development of Project Kingpin, a crime-strategy and management game.The ideal candidate will have strong gameplay instincts, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for designing engaging experiences.The successful candidate will work across various aspects of gameplay, including systems, economy, and progression, to shape how players interact with our game world.This role requires both hands-on design work and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Design and document core gameplay mechanics, loops, and progression structures.Balanec player rewards, pacing, and progression using data and playtesting.Develop clear design documentation (GDDs, feature briefs, tuning sheets).Collaborate closely with developers, artists, and production to prototype and refine mechanics.Participate in playtests and iterate based on player feedback.Contribute ideas across mission design, economy systems, and player experience.Help establish design processes and best practices as part of a growing studio.To succeed, the candidate should have 3+ years of professional experience in game design, proven expertise in gameplay systems, progression, or balancing, and proficiency in Excel/Sheets for tuning and balancing.Fluency in English is required for daily communication with U.S. leadership.We offer a competitive salary, CLT contract with benefits, remote-first culture, clear growth path, opportunity to shape the foundation of the studio and game from the ground up, and a collaborative environment where your voice and ideas matter.
